Our annual meeting and dinner took place at Black Rock Yacht Club in Bridgeport, CT, on January 26. A good dinner was followed by a lively talk by Dave Perry on the importance of teamwork, which went down very well with the crowd.
Trophies for the Nationals, held in August at Niantic Bay YC, were awarded, including to the winning crew, Bill Healy, his daughters Caroline and Kristen, and Art Landry. A trophy that's new this year is the Inflation Trophy, now awarded to the runner-up at the Nationals. This went to Dave Peck of Niantic Bay.
The Charlotte Perry Barringer Youth Award is given to the top competitor under the age of 19: three members of Sharlie's family were there to present it to Charlie Keogh and Roddy Atwood who raced on A84 Redfish: Dave Perry, Ginny Perry Worcester, and Susan Barringer, Sharlie's daughter
